Photography is a life-long passion of mine. My career in photography began 20 years ago, coexisting with being a magazine editor as well as a preschool teacher. I have worked as a photojournalist, a portrait and a commercial photographer, and I have loved every minute of it; there is such joy in photographing life.
My portraits capture personality in a candid, photojournalistic way, where everyone is encouraged to be themselves and enjoy the experience. I feel this produces the best images, the ones that make you remember the story around the picture. There are no fancy backdrops or uncomfortable posing—just a casual and fun time of creating images to treasure.
